Fred..... A lot has been learned and appreciated in spite of the numerous JCT and HCT score sheets. It took a lot of training and effort to accomplish Fred's WTCH as his incredibly keen drive to work livestock was difficult to harness and control. Perseverance did lead to success however and Fred has become a great working partner at home. Fred earned an ASCA Certificate of Merit as the #10 Started Trial Dog on cattle in 2005, and again as an Advanced Trial Dog in 2008. Fred qualified to compete in the ASCA Finals in 2009 on all three classes of livestock along with Dylan. Some arthritis limits Fred's work load these days, but he is always reliable for moving stubborn livestock.
